Kizito Koinet

Kizito Koinet is a Registered Nurse with over nine years of professional experience in the healthcare sector, including four years in nursing leadership and management. He is currently advancing his academic journey by pursuing a Post-RN to Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) at Aga Khan University, Dar es Salaam.

He has a strong professional focus on quality healthcare delivery, patient-centered care, customer care in healthcare, patient safety, and capacity building for healthcare workers. Kizito has facilitated customer care training programs for healthcare staff and conducted research on the evaluation of customer care in healthcare settings in Northern Tanzania.

Beyond clinical practice and training, Kizito is deeply enthusiastic about technology and healthcare innovation. He is the developer of the NurseAid Africa App, a digital health platform designed to connect patients with nearby qualified nurses, improving access to timely, reliable, and community-based nursing care. This innovation reflects his commitment to leveraging technology to bridge gaps in healthcare delivery.

Kizito is an experienced trainer, mentor, and public speaker, having presented at prominent scientific and professional forums, including the TANNA Annual General Meeting and Scientific Conference and the 16th ECSACONM Biennial Scientific Conference in Maseru, Lesotho. His presentations focus on professional communication, leadership, patient experience, and innovation in healthcare.

He currently serves as the Chairperson of TANNA – Karatu District, contributing to nursing advocacy, leadership development, and professional growth within the nursing profession.
